Home Textiles Sourcing Expo presents an innovative seminar program in partnership with Lenzing Innovation

Home Textiles Sourcing Expo is accompanied by a complimentary three-day seminar program, with experts introducing topical issues of the market and latest trends. From July 24-26, 2012, North America’s only sourcing event to solely focus on fabrics and finished goods for all home applications will offer a total of 17 interesting and innovative presentations for attendees from the apparel fabrics, apparel sourcing and home textiles industries. In partnership with Lenzing Innovation, the focus of this edition is on new sourcing regions, eco-friendly/sustainable issues, new innovations in fibers and materials, next season colors and fashion-forward trends.

“We have again compiled a world-class seminar program to serve the interests of attendees and exhibitors. Our Lenzing seminar topics range from textile innovations to color trends and prospects for the U.S. retail market, “says Tricia Carey, USA Merchandising Manager, Lenzing. “Arthur Friedman, Senior Editor, Textiles and Trade, WWD moderates a panel presenting sourcing hot spots, while John Mowbray, Editor, Ecotextile News – London, UK, discusses the Greenpeace Detox report. In addition, returning expert Laurie Pressman from Pantone, New York, introduces color choices for the home in 2013.

“This seminar program is designed to promote new developments in the national and international markets and show existing and upcoming trends. Attendees may ask themselves: What are the latest home textiles sourcing and apparel sourcing trends? Or what can we expect from the Southeast Asian sourcing markets? The Messe Frankfurt seminars give those and many more answers,” says John P. Gallagher, President and CEO of Messe Frankfurt North America. “Thanks to our continuous partnership with Lenzing Innovation, the program features international speakers from industries, politics and consulting.”
